How many of the adult companies out there...

how many of the adult companies out there give back to the community you make money from? (straight or gay does matter) If you do, what are some of the things that you do? Give money, donate resources, ect…?

I know with us, we sponsor events, give money to charities, donate time, ect. I wanted to know is this something other companies to do? We sponsor gay prides, fund raisers for HIV research, cancer, ect.

There are a few companies that I know do this type thing. Like Steve, ChiChi, Cybersocket. Do the others of us do it and not say anything? Or do we just not care enough to see what we could do?
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

Whenever i can do something for a good cause, i'm always up for it.
But i also refused lots of stuff because i was either too busy or i didn't believe in what they were offering.

I say whenever you can do something nice for the community or for anybody in general, just DO IT... Nike.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

    Im with Steve on this.

Whenever we do feel that the funds will be going to a worthy cause, gay straight or whatever both GA and I will gladly donate cash, gifts, food whatever.

However a lot of the times much of the 'money' you donate to charities actually doesnt go towards the people it is supposed to help.

A good example of this is the childrens christian fund or whatever its called that run commericals on tv, if you actually listen to what the guy talking is saying towards the end of it, only $0.05 actually gets sent out of every dollar to the 'starving children in africa'.

    To me thats wrong $0.02

    Regards,

    Lee

I hate those commercials... you know like that Christian whatever shit fundation. Where this old man is pulling a little girls, walking on rocks and craps, barefeet! I'm like, why do you ask us for money if you can't even give her some shoes instead of making her walk like a dog.

I generally feel my time is the most valuable thing I can give when it comes to charity. Me spending a few hours with someone who is normally alone or helping to give food to the homeless is far more rewarding for me personally and I also can see that my time or the funds that I have given are being put to good use.

I'm all for supporting causes so long as their ultimate goal is the same as mine - making the world a better place to live
