Hello everyone,

I just signed up today to this website and first of all i would like to say hello and how interesting some of the topics are for a guy who is quite new to this.

I am a gay guy from Spain and i am planning on launching a website with pictures and short videos of sexy spanish amateur guys who pose for me naked and in sexy clothing. The website will be free and i would like to make some money using an affiliate program. I have seen lots of them but i would like to know if you have any advise on which ones work best and which ones to avoid. Have read that there are many programs that can't be trusted.

I will be writting more about my project in the future and look forward to reading your opinions. Thanks for reading my post.

If you offer exclusive content (meaning ones you shoot and aren't selling to other programs) videos for free, it's going to be super hard to sell a site membership. I agree with Jim ... charge 'em to view your content.

A website costs a good chunk of cash to run without adding in the price of models, video editing, site promotion, etc. You do not have to get crazy with trying to setup a Nats program or any of the other expensive Content Management Systems (cms). You can get your feet wet by setting up Wordpress with a membership site plugin, some of which are free.

Hello again guys and thanks for your replies. The fact that both of you recommend that i don't provide the content of my website is making me consider other options. It makes sense to me that if people who come to my website can get lots of content for free they probably will have finished masturbating before they consider paying for sponsor material. I was thinking about maybe the picture galleries available for free and maybe charge a small amount for members to download the videos. Since i only will have around 10 models when the website is launched i don't think it would be fair to charge a lot of money for a membership. I was thinking about 9.99 or 19.99. What do you guys think about ccbill as a payment method? I have been told that it is very easy to install.

Thanks very much Bec for your list of sponsors. I see some of them offer Pay Per Signup and Rev Share options. I imagine Rev Share is more profitable in the long run. What is your experience on that?

If you plan on continuing to shoot content, perhaps you'd prefer that someone else maintain the site while you handle the video production end of things? There are a couple of sponsors around who do take on content producers in this manner. What, exactly, is your goal? What is it about the process of doing the filming and then going to all the effort to getting it onto the web has your "heart" so to speak?

10 models is 10 "solo's" and if they are all gay it's 10 x 10 possible "pair video" not to mention "3-way" gives you additonal "pairs" so you have more than enough for an "established" startup so I wouldn't worry about being "fair" ... honestly , your not going to hurt SEANCODY'S feelings charging $24.95 month / $17.95 recurring - LOL

I wouldn't give "full on" nude photo for free and/or "extensive" video and keep the "downloads" reduced ... you can expect anything you release for free to be open to the general public for use as "trading cards!" ( although "free advertising" make sure your studio name appears on all work - watermark / video embeded )
