We only produce and lease plug-ins. They do well and sites use them. However, most of the people that want the content can't afford it, or the producers want to much for it.
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

Yeah, I guess it depends where ya go. I believe our content to be cheaper then plugins at the end of the day because we only charge $20-$50.00 a scene and most of the scenes have never been seen on the net before. That's a good price I think... I haven't bought content in so long. All my content is live streams. So we have new exclusive content hourly.

Feeds are good for filler but you've got to have licensed content that specificaly fits your niche and exclusive is even better.
I totally agree, feeds are filler and are not the focal point to any of our sites. The big boy sites are all feeds and we wanted to be different.Originally posted by Hammer

I think that in all honesty there is a place for both types of content.
However that being said some companies tend to use plug-in far to much IMHO.

we pay 23 cents per gig from our host (more or less) but plugins charge us around $3 - $5 per gig. on the other hand, they are maintanance and design-free, and i have found some plugins that are VERY tight within some niches.
