Why dogs' poop is white?

Steve... from what I know from years with my dogs is they ate something that was dry like a beef bone, had a dog treat that was lite in color or ate something like a sock LOL Liquorice did that a couple time when she was a little pup scared the hell out of me. Even peanuts, pastachios (sp?) and the like will change the color of their feces.

The last meat bone we gave Liquorice had her pooping white. But I knew what she was eating. and expected it.

If it's spotted with white then there is possibly a different issue.
