Every week, another 20 or people join the forum, but few of them seem to post much or join in the conversation. Last week, I posted a similar kind of message and we've been hearing quite a bit from gaystoryman. (He piped up in last week's thread.) It's nice to hear a new voice.

Although it's not officially my responsibility to be the welcome wagon or team cheerleader, I do like to help out around here whenever I can.

Well I think i registered one year ago but I was too busy to keep on posting; so I am almost new on this board!

I want to know this industry better. I have been working as an adult web designer for 5 years and I still dont have a site of my own. So I would like to learn as much as possible and make some good friends as well

2. What do you do? design

3. What do you hope to get out of being here? get to know this biz better and hopefully to make some friends

4. What if your biggest challenge at the moment? get fit (I spend too many hours in front of the computer)

5. Is there anything we can immediately help us with? mmmm, not sure about this, but this place seems to be a nice one!

I am planning to launch some more soon, in august, when I have some free time :high:

I will like to start with a general gay site for spanish speaking users; In my country, Spain, dialers are getting out of the market so I believe it's a good moment to start selling good quality paysites...
I still dont have a general idea for the site, I am gathering as much info as possible and having a look at what content providers offers.

Ah great ... my site gets a ton of traffic from Spanish speaking people. Check it out, it may help you. The text was translated by an Argentinian volunteer, so I'm told that it's a bit regional.

Yes the argentinian spanish is a bit different. But overall the translation is very well done.

I always love to see these threads pop up on boards I am trying to get active on. Thanks! :-) My name is Nikki, I live in Key West, been in the industry around 4 years now, but got out of one company and now launching something new with a new partner.

The new programs are gay inclusive, so I am getting active on the few good gay boards to learn and promote.

We do streaming content delivery. We offer programs to help producers make money online, as well as offering to webmasters/companies video feeds, pay-per-view theatres, and pay-per-view websites. We built a custom streaming player that is just awesome.

My biggest challenge is getting back into the swing of things after being away for 6 months. I feel like a newbie!

I am doing research so I can set up a site that will allow me to sell my pornographic art online. I found this site thanks to Google and was impressed with how down-to-earth and helpful the people are here.

2. What do you do?

I work at a Macintosh lab at night. I am also an artist and make drawings of men who are tied up and tortured. :-)

3. What do you hope to get out of being here?

I want to feel like I belong here (I kind of already do), help others, and get advice fom others who are in this industry.

4. What is your biggest challenge at the moment?

Finding a program that will allow the customers of my future website to download my art after they pay for it.

5. Is there anything we can immediately help us with?

I don't quite get this question. You mean how can you help me personally? Well, I would appreciate it if you check out the two programs I am currently considering and tell me what you think of them. Here are the links:

I am leaning towards the program from SoftImpression, even though they give less information about their product on their website than the other guys. It seems like what they offer is closer to what I want, plus it seems easier for the customers to use. But primarily, it is just instinct. It's a weird feeling.

And Dzinerbear, I loved your web site about bears! I loved hairy men since I was 12, and that was right up my alley! Plus I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so I understood everything. The Spanish is a litle bit diferent than the one from Puerto Rico, but it seems like it was done by a native speaker. And that's a good thing.

Yes, sorry I meant "how can we help you." I'm a fast typer, so sometimes my brain isn't in the same gear as my fingers.

Do you have samples of your art that we could look at? I love adult art. I bought some books on Manga drawing, as it's something I'd love to learn how to do. I haven't drawn anything since high school, but I thought I might try it out and see if I can't dig up that artist kid inside of me.
