Purchased Vs. Free content

What do you prefer? Buying content to make into free galleries? Or, using sponsor content for galleries? Most of the sponsors i am with dont have too many very good free galleries, and if they do, there arent enough pics in them to qualify to make a gallery. So if you were going to build a gallery to submit right now, where would you head for content?

I prefer to use my own content.

I think the reason TGPs convert so horribly bad is not because everyone's looking for free porn. It's because all the webmasters are using the same sponsored content.

I've also seen a few of the picture sets that I have on my sites, but by and large, I guess a lot of webmasters don't believe in the addage: "You have to spend money to make money."

My two favourite places for content are Gay Adult Photos (although I wished they'd sort out whether they're selling big pictures or small pictures, and I wish they'd get their site working in a Mozilla browser) and Ounique.

In all honesty there is a place for both free and purchased content.

Specifically with AEN sites, why would i go out of my way to provide 50 free images of purchased content when i can buy a set with 100+ images in it, use 10 on the first gallery and fill the remaining 4 gallerys with sponsors content

Oh geez ... did I miss a boat somewhere, I never thought of doing that. But in all honesty on my AEN sites, I do so much hyping up of the guy in the previews that I really need to give them the whole set inside. But you've got my wheels turning.

I agree with Lee on this one. There is a place for both of them. When I look for a program, I tend to look for something that isn't out there all over the place. Just for the fact that when the surfer sees the pics/videos they are blown away by it and are more likely to buy a membership.

You can also buy some great stuff from diffrent producers, but you just need to make sure that it matchs what the sponsor is selling for their membership site.
