When Do You Use PPS / Recurring Sponsors?

Do you have specific types of sites that you only use PPS (Pay Per Signup) or recurring sponsors on?

For example, on TGP galleries do you tend to go for recurring sponsors over pps or the other way around?

What about free sites? AEN / AVS sites? TGPs?

Have you found a specific form of payout model that works best for you on the various types of sites you build and, if not, why do you currently use the types of sponsors on each?

    Regards,

    Lee

nope! i use a mix of pps and recurring, sometimes with the same site. some of the sites i promote recur well from my gallery traffic, actually.

also slower paying sponsors i often go for pps.

I would think that if the site converts well, but recention isn't so good then go with the PPS. If the site has good retention, and a good conversion they go with recuring. (but I've been wrong before)

So far, I've only really worked with programs with recurring sales, and they seem to do well. :specs:
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

Stunner Media Presents 8 great programs:
    IndieBucks | StandAhead | BoyCrushCash | Phoenixxx | <a href="http://hunkmoney.com/">Hunk Money</a> | <a href="http://nats.britishbucks.com/">British Bucks</a> | <a href="http://nats4.emoprofits.com/">Emo Profits</a> | <a href="http://latinobucks.com/">Latino Bucks</a>

If the site your promoting has geneirc cookie cutter tours and a members area that doesn't retain customers then go with PPS.

Then again why would you want to promote a site with generic tours and crappy members area?

I say find good sites to promote and go with revshare.

i still say it depends. a lot of revshares out there charge $19.95 or $14.95. that means you make under $10 a month. if the average member recurs for 3 months and a trial, you don't make more than some pay per signup programs at that rate - and with pps, you make it faster.
