Where do you learn new things?

A lot of people were interested in Mike's special effects applied to gussy up that model on his wallpaper. It got me thinking about the tutorial sites I used to visit.

Where do you go to learn news things in:

    Photoshop
    Illustrator
    Dreamweaver
    Flash

    Others?

Post your favourite sites here, I know I could use a breath of fresh air.

    Cheers

I bought a book a while back which outlined the hottest photoshop effects and exactly how to do them, its awesome. Its called "photoshop most wanted" and it by Al Ward/Colin Smith.

You know Michael in all honesty i either go to Google and look for tutorials or ask on one of our community forums.

I dont really have any places i visit for specific information

I either ask on this board or some of the people I have on my ICQ and AIM lists - you know who you are - failing that google is great if you know the name of the effect or type of thing you want to do!

If all else fails ask a designer that you've worked with before they'll often help for a small fee.

    Cheers,

    Allan

    for html.
    i use http://www.w3schools.com
    for photoshop
    http://www.n-sane.net/

Tutorial are very good in learning new tricks but we can always learn new from ourselves. Spend some time in photoshop and try to learn what each each tool can do and what it can create combining two effects.
    Practice also helps a lot.
