    Full-length, feature animated porn movie

Live sex is hot and all, don't get me wrong.

But all the time, I come across drawings that are flat out hot as hell.

Animated porn allows for things such as exaggerated "ideal features" in the characters - making them truly flawless and perfect, albeit animated - along with positions and scenarios and incorporation of fantasy elements that just couldn't be achieved through live video.

With something like The House of Morecock, for example... some of the scenes in there are flat out hot! As are the guys! But the animation is sorta jumpy and then that damn dinosaur shows up all the time to chase your boner away. Granted they made a deliberate effort to incorporate humour in to it all but still.

There are some pretty darn racey Japanese anime flicks out there with scenes that are enough to breed years with of mental jack off material.

Am I alone in thinking it'd be really great if someone put some effort in to making a flat out hot, quality (decent frame rate and smooth movement rather than splotchy and jumpy animation and not too cartoony) animated and full length gay porn flick?

I'm right there with ya on that Brian. The Tom of Finland Foundation was working on a full-length animated feature based on Tom's art. I was thinking that it would be along the lines of a gay version of the film Heavy Metal. I was involved doing movie and concept developement for a short we were hoping would lead to funding, but the funding fell through and the short got pushed to the back burner. The project isn't gone but it's on hold indefinitely. I'm hoping it will be revived on of these days.

So Don, you'd be familiar with this stuff then...

is it just not a cost effective thing? When adult video production companies can pump out a live movie or DVD for a price they're comfortable with in a time frame they're willing to work with... is it just too difficult or expensive or time/energy consuming to put together an animated film? To the point no one would really be willing to do it or couldn't really justify the effort?

The cost of an animated feature alone is in the hundreds of thousands. Think of all the drawings that go into animation. It's unreal. Even doing it on the computer is quite time consuming, and therefore quite expensive. Way too much for one person to fund, that's why we were looking for backers. But looking at the popularity of the anime videos here in America, you wonder why someone wouldn't spend the time and money to develope more of that here.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Brian as Don mentioned animated moves can often run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars price tag to have created thats one of the reaons why there are NO legal anime movies available to adult webmasters because the companies producing them make more by selling the videos and dvds than they would the licenses.

You kow, Deslock, I always wished they would have made a porn out of Starblazes with the two lead guys...

But I guess that would have been too much to ask for.

    Oh well.
