When a new client comes to you looking for advice and pricing on their hosting needs what sort of information do you get from them?

Does the plan you decide to offer them depend on what they want to do or do you always start off with a 'basic' hosting plan first and then build up to a larger one?

I work things through with my clients, try to figure out what they will need depending on what their plans are and then recommend a plan that fits their needs. Plus all of our plans are fully flexible so if a client finds they are through their bandwidth limits and its only 1/2 way through the month, I will work it out with them and upgrade their plan if that is what saves them the most.
