The only way to meet people is to be brave enough to go up and say hello to them Dawgy, the worst they can say is no - they don't generally bite (unless you ask them to

) I used to be pretty nervous when it came to asking people out but then it hit me - If they don't wanna go out with me it's their loss not mine.

well then start! go up to a person that's alone. go up to a couple people.
it does no good waitin for people to come up and talk to you, gettin' frustrated when they don't, and then complainin' afterwards that no one did.

obviously the sitting around alone waitin' for folks to come up approach ain't workin' so it's time to switch things up.

Sometimes I think we will go out to a bar, and psychologically set ourselves up for dissapointment. I mention that because I have observed myself behaving that way.

I have found that when I go out, and I have a good attitude without that junk in my head, I'll have a pretty fun night. Set your expectations.

Know your target market too. If I go to one of my regular night spots on Thursdays, I'll always get my ass grabbed by several black drag queens. That always seems now to get things off to a good start.

Today I would reccommend that you walk up to the next cute guy you see and simply say hello. There are many places a conversation can go from there, but it only takes hello to start. I usually end up with some CHEESY shit like "I couldn't pass up the opportunity to introduce myself to the cutest guy in the bar" or "I like your shoes, wanna fuck?"

If, at first, you're too nervous to speak, try the eye contact thing. When you do finally talk, don't be afraid to admit that you were intimidated by his beauty...it will make him feel like the hottest stud in the room.

You know Dale, it really all just depends on what it is you're looking for. As I recall, you have a pension for young twinky boys. Remember when you were that age? Hell...remember the other night at the bar??? It's not easy to go up to people if you're not that comfortable with yourself. Most 18-23 year-olds I know don't even know who they are or want to be...so how can they be comfortable with that. The ones who do display assuredness and self-confidence tend to overdo it and become a little obnoxious. If you're looking for young guys, you have to be self-assured and confident. They don't have that and are looking for it. Why do you think you see so many young guys with older men? They want stability and a firm....hand...so to speak.
