BIG NEWS! Our twin boys were born early!

Hi Everyone,

I've been offline a lot lately... we had an early arrival, our two boys Morris and Calvin were born last Thursday, August 29th. They were premature at just 33 weeks. Melissa had a natural delivery, is doing well and has been home from the hospital since Saturday. The boys are still in the hospital in the special care nursery but they are also doing well. They were in incubators until this morning to regulate their temperature but now they're in room air inside of a crib at the hospital. We are hopeful that they'll be coming home to Melissa, Elizabeth and myself within the next week.

We've been very blessed with everyone's good health! I wanted to sincerely thank all of you who have kept us in your thoughts and prayers during this stressful time. The boys are just absolutely beautiful and we are so incredibly happy that their health will seemingly be unaffected by their early birth

Congrats again on becoming a father Brad they look adorable and im so happy to hear that even being premies they are doing well :thumbsup:

Mel's a champ... she's doing great! She's pretty happy about already being back to the pre-pregnancy weight, especially since much will just come right off in the next couple weeks just because.

as you all know i've been offline too...getting a lot of work done in the office while brad was busy at home/hospital. we're all so excited and i was blessed enough to meet the boys in person while they were less than a day old!

corey couldn't decide whether to call me a new uncle or a new aunt...but i told him i'm man enough to handle both roles! anyway, thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. i'll be seeing you very soon in Florida and we can all have a toast to the new lives.
