SEATTLE - A new gay adult website and video release hit the market this week when Seattle's AresMen unveiled its first public viewing of the company's offerings.

AresMen's first video release, "CockTales v.1: The Intruders" became available for presales today when the company's website (www.aresmen.com) went live, exhibiting a promotional trailer or the video on the site's membership area. AresMen is offering free membership for a limited time during the company's launch.

"The site launch is our chance to show the public how we differ from the standard fare," said Nick Sparks, president and executive producer for AresMen. "Not just in terms of the breadth of our offerings, like our short fiction section, the member blog and the photo galleries, but in terms of even more fundamental differences," he said. "You won't ever see obnoxious pop-up ads when you're on the AresMen site. We're dedicated to clean code, so no spyware or other coding intrusions."

Sparks said the initial survey responses to the new site have been overwhelmingly positive, with beta testers from around the U.S. and Canada ranking the site as "one of the best" in categories ranging from ease of use to quality of content.

"We wanted to create an experience from the user's perspective," Sparks said.

"Our guiding vision throughout the launch has been to appeal to a more savvy generation of adult entertainment consumers. We analyzed the appeal of the growing amateur market, as well as consumer dissatisfaction with aspects of the professional market, and we hope we've found a truly appealing balance," he said.

Sparks said the free trial membership gives the public a chance to view a limited version of the offerings that will be available to paid members later this month.

"We want to give a sneak preview of the kinds of content that will be available in greater quantity," he said. "But we also want our user base to give us some feedback on the kinds of content they most want from a membership, so we can deliver the kind of membership that keeps people coming back for more."

Lead by president and executive producer Nick Sparks, AresMen is a division of Ares Entertainment, Inc. and is based out of Seattle, Washington. More information can be found on their website at www.aresmen.com.
