The "nasties" of adult websites...

Here's a quote from someone giving someone else advice on how to get and keep their puter safe from viruses, adware, trojans and parasites.

The less ethical the content of a site, the more unethical the operators are likely to be as far as hacking you or sending you nasties. Assume you will be hacked and attacked -- apart from the serious legal, ethical and moral issues.

If, contrary to our advice, you do go to such sites. there are things to be considered.

Never, ever go to a site which might have any illegal content.
Never, ever download illegal content.
Never go to a site which will embarrass you when you are found out *******

That's sooooo madening (because of being judged) but, a wee bit true in some ways too.

Some screwed up adult webmasters give as ALL a bad name and rap! They SUCK! But, it's some major mainstream sites that are using these and are giving adult webmasters a bad name and the blame!!

I find it interesting how some anal people perceive "adult webmasters"

I also find interesting that there is an "un-awareness" about where trojans and these adware - parasites come from. (Even my own ISP is guilty of it) :wacko:

Hell, I go to eBay and my software go nuts...I find these shittin things all over the place....and mostly on mainstream sites. I don't surf for porn, cause I can go right to my own site if I wanna see...... and yet I would get 100's adware vermon and trojans every week that I'd have to clean out, if I didn't have my spyware program.

Now I'm more aware that adult webmasters are getting the blame for the 1000's or more mainstream sites putting crap on their puters.

I agree with the last paragraph about mainstream site btw.

It seems more and more of the mainstream sites im visting have 10 times the amount of pop-ups adult sites had 2 or 3 years ago $0.02

the only two times i ever got spyware, it was on a mainstream site. now i use mozilla - and when i check the code, i see more spyware on mainstream sites than porn sites.
