surely not... if it hits the tampa side of the state, which it will, wont it just be kinda stormy & rainy on the east coast side?

im driving over there... then flying out of orlando on monday to seattle... ugh...

Typically yes, but it depends on how wide it is.

There was a tropical storm that hit Tampa about two years ago and it was just gusty and a bit rainy.

Another hot the pan hadnle that year and was so wide we had more than that. So it just depends on it girth. Like men girth make a difference.

We got stuck in Houston comng back from Phoenix. We sat in the parking lot smoking for 5 hours. It sucked. I think Lee and I know that airport in great detail. Not fun!

altho, i do have that big-ass suite... so i can have 20 people over for fun if we're stuck inside.

it's going to hit key west if it doesn't fall apart before that, we'll be on the windy side of it with lots of rain and thunder. if it tilts right it's going to go on top of us which is not what we want at all (2nd floor, high-ceilings, no hurricane shutters :wtf: )

our tv stations are going into hurricane mode, mostly because of key west. we should know for sure Friday if it's coming towards sout florida or going north

LOL you know I would normally agree with you but that time... my gawd! It was the entire fuel balance system that went down so we had to sit and wait it out.

They were computing the fuel to passenger/cargo weights by hand. And ya know what... when I heard that I didn't mind sitting there waiting in the car park... I rather they got it right

Rainey... actually the parking lot is attached to the terminal so you don't have to go all the way outside and all. It's actually on the way to baggage. Not that i'm a fan of that airport but after the last time, like I said, we know it LOL

Just don't get stuck there on a Sunday. Everything closes at 7pm. LOL
