    Accepting credit cards

    I would appreciate your input on expediant ways to collect fees. First, the site is an auction site, our fees are from sellers. Originally, my thought was that accepting credit cards accomplished a few things; verifying majority age, securing payment of seller fees, lending legitimacy to our site.

    Now, the biggest stumbling block to launching the site is integrating our payment gateway (Verisign) with our auction software. After losing a web designer, fighting with the software developer and hearing that it will be "expensive" to integrate the gateway, I am rethinking the necessity to accept credit cards and use an online payment service (e.g. Paypal) instead.

    I would honestly say try netbilling. We use them and like them. I'm sure they can work out how to get you all working and set up.

    Netbilling is definately the way to go however, you might also consider alternative options such as PayPal and Epassporte.
