does sex breaks with the wife count?

I go out for a walk most every day at noon, then usually up the stairs at least once or twice during the afternoon...

OMG! Lee, I was just talking to Jasun about that the other day. haha, I used to always be out doing things. Now I just don't have the time to get everything done here, then go get dressed, and then go work out or whatever. Or if I do find the time, I'm to tired to actually go do it.

I try to always exercise. I will often walk down to Fresh Plus, which is a little neighborhood grocery store here, and get something. I am the kind of guy who goes to a grocery store almost every day of the week - just to get something.

Fresh juice, or potatoes, or tea.

When I buy my car next week, I'll renew my gym membership after ages of inactivity, and I'll be able to pick that back up again. I really need to really up and finish my healthy eating site someday soon.

We live in the heart of downtown Denver. We have a car, but we use it very little, choosing instead to walk to most places we want to go. It’s not regimented exercise per se, but it still burns calories. Plus, it’s a great way to people watch.

I make it to the gym 6 days a week.

I seldom miss it, and when I do, I generally make up for it with some working out at home.

I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to working out, but when ever I get like I feel lazy and don't wanna go, I have a picture of what I looked like last year, and I immediately get up and do some ab work.

I'm shallow. i'm comfortable with that.

I don’t consider it shallow at all. In fact, I admire your dedication and your desire to keep yourself healthy. To me, that isn’t vain. It’s wise.

I wish I we’re more motivated in that area. I’m ashamed to say I have a membership to a club that is 2 blocks away, but I never go. I’ve always been intimidated by the whole “gym” scene. Plus, the last time I was there I encountered this enormous middle-aged woman who not only offended my eyes, she sneezed all over everything she came in contact with. I know that’s where I got my last head cold.

Anyway, I’ll bet you look good with your clothes off, huh!

I joined a gym and do about 50 minutes a day on the treadmill until I burn 300 calories, or do 3 miles. I've been doing it for about 3 weeks and i've lost about 10 pounds.
If I could afford it I'd buy a treadmill and put it in my house.

I do it for health reasons. my father is diabetic and my mother is not. so I have a 50% chance of getting it myself. The only way to keep it away is to exercise everyday, so I have to now.

as a side benefit, im getting hit on more when I go out : )

    Ok,

So I go to the gym about four times a week - twice with a trainer and twice by myself - I look nothing like Jasun but intend to stick at it - maybe just maybe one day I might come close

    Cheers,

    Allan

Hmm, considering that getting to, going around at, and back to the hotel at Internext was probably the most exercise I've had in over a year ... LOL

Actually, I do try to move around the house every day, and make at least one trip up and down the stairs - there's a lot of em and damn near vertical, so it does pump up the heart a bit. But I really need to look into some sort of routine that would help strengthen up the tummy muscles that got cut in the surgery ... I sure don't like this beer belly look! I really was a lean mean dyke machine at one point!
