Anyone Know How To Set Linux Up On A PC?

I have some stuff i want to test out but rather than testing it on our server i wanted to install Linux on an old PC we have sitting around the office.

Anyone know how easy / difficult it is to do?

It's really not that hard to do babe. Yep I'm a blonde and can do.. so anyone can.. *giggle*

I have to warn you.. once you start using linux you'll want get rid of windows..

Do you know which you're wanting to put on the box? I think the one I'm going to try next is the latest version of mandrake.

It depends on which version of linux you want to install. Most of the more well known versions have good documentation on their websites.
