Just wanted my family here to know that I will be away for a few days... this week I have been running a fever of 105F and sick, by the time the xrays and ultrasound were in the doctor told me to head off to have emergency surgery.

I came home to pick up some stuff and am heading to emergency now.. love you all and hope to see you soon.

I went to the Doctor last week..

what a disaster. All he did was suck my neck.

Never go see Dr Acula.

Just want to let everyone know that Rob (TheLegacy) is home safe and sound sleeping.

He had been pre'ed for surgery and ready to go when the surgeon specializing in gullbladder's came in and started reading the background information and put a stop to it.

The day was spent watching the Emergency Surgeons and Rob's doctor battle it out all day as to whether to operate or not.

The Hospital felt that it was an internal virus and that the gallbladder was not that inflamed to be removed, while Robs doctor insisted that it was causing enough problems to upset not only his diabetes but that spillage from the bile was creating the fever.

By the end of the day, the chief surgeon won and Rob was released without operation, in a bit of pain but still not knowing why he was having such high temperatures.

But medication prescribed has helped and he is resting well now with a normal temp., but is very weak.

Thank you all for your love and the phone calls giving support - he did want me to pass that along.

I'm sure the decision was the right one... but I have to say it is refreshing to hear about a doctor who didn't want to automatically cut.

hope they're right about the gallbladder, my bf had 6 attacks before they finally figured out it wasn't just an ulcer. The surgeon said it was so bad it was growing on his liver he had to make a 10 inch gash to get it out
