How much should you pay male models?

How much for solo?
How much for m/m? how much for m/m/m?
Just rough ideas would be great. i dont know if you pay a guy $200 for a hardcore video, or $2,000. Do you pay the bottom more than the top?
Sorry if these are dumb questions.
Granted this is amateur video work not a major studio, so Id only be able to hire guys who are on the cheaper side.

oh and what forms of ID do you take? i know license and passport are ok, but what about guys who dont have passports? is there a different form of ID you take instead thats just as good?

Ultimately it is going to depend on how much..

A) You think the model is worth and;
B) You can get the model to beleive they are worth.

We have had models willing to do 10 guy group bukakke shoots for as little as $200 while we have had other models willing to do J/O scenes for no les than $500.

Balance the benefits of the model to your business and come up with a figure that is both reasonable to you and to them.

A couple of years ago, I did a survey for MANcheck when we were looking to shoot our own content. I simply went to the escort sites and e-mailing every porn star I could see, as well as a few escorts that looked appealing.

As Lee said, the price varied wildly.

Unknowns were willing to do shoots for between $200 and $500, guys with a few films under their belts or an established name were asking $500 to $1000. And most of those wanted $1500 for an action scene.

I ended up supervising a shoot with three models photographed separately and we paid $200 to $400 each. But that was a couple of years ago. We still do shoots from time to time, but I have no idea what we're paying now. It's not something I'm involved in.

Here's an E-mail one of my models received recently on the subject, I edited out the company name, just in case they might not appreciate the post.
"We are pleased to announce that we are opening a new adult male site called xxx October 2004, and we would like you to be one of our premiere models.
