Hey is anyone planning on attending the Gay Erotic Expo in NYC in Ocotber. This is a B-C show. I know the LA one is going on now. Or anyone go last year? Feedback? Thoughts?

i went a couple years ago... was very consumer oriented, i didnt really accomplish anything. but it was fun to party in NYC with a bunch of my porn pals.

Well i was told that last years show sucked for the online stuff.

Again as Dale mentioned it is primarily consumer (bricks and mortar) orientated.

Yeah, these shows are definitley more consumer driven. But I found the LA one last year to be kind of beneficial for me when I was a marketing director for cruising for sex.

1. Great opportunity to talk with gay consumers that keep our businesses alive. Their likes/dislikes, new niches etc.. plus if you got info to handout like trial memberships etc..

2. Also by just walking around and talking with some of the studios and sites that were there I was able to network and also bring on new business.

I guess it just depends on what your business model is and if these 2 things play a factor.

Also BTW the www.nycexpo.net is the same weekend as well
