I Wonder? damn have i got a problem

i have more ideas than ability.

my to-do list is a page long at this point. all of the items are sites that i know will do well. i can build the sites, put them together, and even run them once theyre functional. but im really not sure how to go about making the sites grow, in terms of traffic & branding, etc.

i have 1 site (reviews) finished and ready for traffic, and i want to get it growing before i tackle another site... or should i move forward? i feel silly just building sites & then not doing anything with them.

    *runs around room screaming*

Honey, my To Do list is an entire sprial notebook, and that's just the things that I remember to write down. I WISH it was only one page.

I come up with million dollar ideas 5.7 times a day.

I've decided to only concentrate on the projects that have the most potential and projects that satisfy me personally.

A good analogy is my addiction to thrift stores and flea markets. My new rule is if I buy something new, something has to go. I am not buying anymore bookshelves, file cabinets, or storage containers. When one of those get full, something has got to go.

Don't start a new website until you can designate time to run it long term.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

    Dale,

I would agree with Mark on this one however, the one exception to the rul is if the new sites can supplement or enhance the current sites traffic in which case i would choose the option of building more of them and interlinking them together then focusing on driving traffic to the main site and letting it feed out from there.

    Regards,

Good advice Mark and Lee. I have a site that one of the big Gay directory sites wouldn't take because it had to much "straight" content. So I piggy backed the site on another of mine with a popunder.. now the site, with no advertising at all and 5 weeks later, is 20 members short of equaling members for the main site it was piggy backing from!

So get one site with good traffic, piggy back that traffic, then funnel it through a few well designed affiliates, capture the email addresses.. and your good to go.
