like i said in title,i am new in this Gay niche..
i am planing to open an pay site so..what i need...are some honest advices..what sells these days?What gay niche can make decent sales?

Well in the Gay Market pretty much anything can sell if you market it correctly
You need to ask yourself what gay market niche YOU think YOU would be best suited to and go from there $0.02

Why don't you start with a Twink site first. There is hardly any other twink sites around and a HUGE demand.
Sorry to be pissy about this, but in the future, please don't refer to 'gay' as a niche.

the 'gay niche' is a very different, very unique market. If you have no experience with gay traffic, I would highly suggest NOT opening up a paysite but instead starting out with galleries, free sites, avs/aen sites, etc until you get a firm grasp on how gay traffic behaves and what sells.

Gay is not a single niche. That's where most straight webmasters (I assume you are) set their doom in stone from day one.
There are factors that go into treating it as such that result in some of the worse sites online.
Also, I just looked at your content site. I hope you are planning on stocking your gay site with guys different than those.
The idea is to make men pay $30/mo to jerk off to the good looking men they can't have. No offense, but your male models are the one's buying the memberships.

But i am re-designing site right now
So many new models will come up shortly...i know they are not top models..but..every content have his buyer,there is always amateur or reallity niche as Fister told..
anyway...i udnmerstand gay have many,mnay sub-niches..that's why i asked here to learnm something before i try something,and all these advices are very helpfull to me!

I agree with Fister... I don't agree with what Matt26z is saying. Real amateur type content is definately a hot seller. It is obvious that your models aren't pros, but you can certainly use that to your advantage.Originally posted by Matt 26z

Some suggestions for you... Start a Platinum/Gold/Premium/Plus AVS site and put all of your amateur content into 5 or 6 different niche galleries (bear/hairy, twink, jock/frat, etc). Then build many regular AVS sites with 1 model per site. Then send all of your regular site AVS traffic to your Platinum AVS site. Be sure to emphasize the fact that these are real amateur men.
This is a good way to build up your empire quickly and find what niches work for you.
Lykos, we just get pissy around here when straight webmasters come in and say they're going to give the "gay niche" a stab. Gay is not a niche like women in high heel shoes, or redheads, or women with big tits that point up. Gay is a whole market divided into hundreds of niches just like the straight side of porn.
We get pissy because it kind of shows an ignorance from the straight community. Kind of like all straight men think gay men want to suck their cocks, or all a gay man needs is a good screw from the right woman.
Probably the easiest way to wrap your brain around this is to think of every straight niche there is, now there is probably a very similar niche in the gay market. For instance, if we go with the high heel niche in the straight market, in the gay market, a lot of guys like sneakers, others like guys in combat boots, others are into more military knee-high boots. One could argue that they're all in one big niche "foot wear" or three sub-niches, or perhaps even three separate and distinct niches.
So to sum up: to throw all gay men into one niche is insulting.
