8 videos enough to start a new site?

I remember straightguys.ca came out with 12 videos and made great money.. anyone think a site with 8 good niche videos can be successfully launched?

I dont see why not although, they would have to be of a reasonable quality.

We only launched www.dilf.com with 6 episodes i beleive as well as some photosets and filler content, i also know of companies who have launched paysites with ONLY 3 videos in them!

What kind of filler content, and how much, did you use on DILF when it first launched? Was the site that started with 3 successful?

hypnotisedstraightguys.com only had 5 subjects when it was released and it got a great response still does now.

well, i would say if it's something that hasn't been seen before [or much of] on the internet, you might have a good chance of starting a site as long as it was reasonably priced... there's alot of factors and contributors to what makes something worth buying i guess... IMOH

Why not start your site as an AEN site at DeluxePass. They will host your site and you will earn $15 per sign-up... probably more than you will net as new pay-site. Plus, all of the other DeluxePass sites will help you with member retention.

There are other AEN's that you might want to look at, too, such as PornAccess, AdultsAllowed, ProAdult, etc.

With any of these AEN's, you won't have to set-up your own processing, pay any Visa/MC fees or worry about customer support.

You probably want to host your own tour, just in case you want to move your site to another AEN or turn it into a pay-site. You will still be able to host the members section on the AEN's servers.

Sounds very interesting. I've emailed them to get more info. Their site doesn't say much about particulars and says to email for more info.

squirt, I would say you can open it up as long as you offer your members regular updates and grow it to a nice size within the first few months.
