Selling a Domain Name

Ok, the thread started me thinking about domain names...and I have one that is sitting there and referring to a paysite affiliate program. I'm sure it could be developed and is probably worth something.

How or where would I go to try and put it on the auction block? It has a Google Page Rank of 4/10, which surprises me, since its been just a referring page for months.

List it on Ebay and spam it on the adult message boards?
Turn it into a "this domain for sale" page?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I assume a 4/10 page rank means position 4 on the first page?

the higher the number the more popular the page, it doesn't refer to it's position on the google index. otherwise Yahoo should be 10th

What does 4 stand for and what does 10 stand for JigG and where do you get the information? Where does it show that info?

As Luke said you can start off by posting the domain on the announcements forum on GWW and also you should post it in the 'Buying + Selling' section over on http://www.spamboards.com :thumbsup:

If you use google's toolbar you would get that info for any domain name.

Personally I'd keep it and use it to link to other projects on a one way basis.. given its PR value.

btw the PR or page rank can also be available now on firefox for those who don't wanna use IE to check... in case anyone is interested.

you can download an extention for FireFox taht shows the PR on the bottom right corner, no need for toolbars
I've dropped them completely and use the built in search of mozilla and can switch between google and yahoo
