What Is Your Favorite (Non Adult) Gay Movie?

I was just browsing through the film section on http://www.prowlerdirect.co.uk and was thinking that i hadnt really seen any good movies about the gay lifestyle recently.

What movies would you recommend that are US based that i should see?

If you are looking for a UK based movie i would highly suggest Beautiful Life and also, if you can get it over here, the Bad Girls tv series

So tell me what movies we should be going to rent next weekend

As for "heterosexual movies" on this planet....I live a very sheltered life, I _never_ seen movie reviewers divide movies into
"gay" or "heterosexual" categories, and I thank you 100 times in advance for the link where movie critics do so.

'A Beautiful Thing' and 'Get Real' are my favorite coming of age type movies.

Three of my most recent favorites is 'Latter Days' and 'Unconditional Love' and 'the Dreamers'. Other favorites are - 'The adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert', 'The Laramie Project' was a tear jerker, 'the Trip' and 'Rites of Passage'.

If you're looking for a real screwed up movie - pick up 'The Hanging Garden' or 'Lilies'. I love my netflix account

Good question. I haven't seen anything recent that I was totally in luv with. Here's a few older ones that I've enjoyed: Big Eden, Trick, To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar, The Birdcage, La Cage Aux Folles 1 & 2, Love! Valour! Compassion!.
