My Ripped Site!

Need some advice from y'all! My Ripped Site is what I found this morning and I contacted them plus the host and of course no one has responded to me(surprise!)
What would you suggest?

best you can do is get on the torrent network get the IPs of those that distribute the film and directly Cesit & Deceist notice the ISP. The ISP has to send an official notice to the offender via mail to notify them of the abuse and requires them to send a letter/email back stating the offending content has been removed.

that is so shitty

its looking like DRM solutions are needed these days for any content we want to put online that we don't want stolen.

we've been experimenting with loading all of our galleries firstly inside a java applet then we went to a flash viewer - that way they can't just rip the whole batch of galleries etc or even go 'right click save as'.

some of our members gave their cancel reasons as 'cant download pics' or 'cant save pics'. surfers suck LOL

i hate to say this, but you may be in for a long wait before any of the legal channels can get this closed down ... and once content is our there, its impossible to get it back. Maybe it will bring lots more awareness about your site and more traffic?! ;-)

i strongly recommend trying to put any preventative measures in place, otherwise you are going to be playing a constant legal game with bloody theives - your content is *so valuable*, that this is going to happen continually i'm sorry to say ;-(

Hey thanks so much for all the great advice! I am on it and will let you know what happens..uggggg! I still havent got a response from anyone. I am calling the hosting company.
The only good thing from this is like you said CJ it might bring more awareness to my site and get people interested...I am trying to keep a positive attitude

At least they are not directly accessing your members area and stealing your bandwith. But I know that is small consolation. considering that your content is SOOO unique and exclusive.

buck, i'd just write this off as a really good pre-launch campaign! i went and had a browse around at the ripped sites the other night, and noticed they've been kind enough to publish your url on their page displaying your ripped content ...

what you have effectively just achieved is buyer awareness of your site, which will help your affiliates convert their traffic ;-)

have you noticed an increase in hits to your site at all since it was published there?

Lee Playboy TV came 2 weeks ago and we had a blast! They were so great to work with. I know they are gonna do a great job on the piece. It was not about "Buck the Freak" but just "Buck the porn star"
They said it should be out in January!! Lots of good stuff coming my way!People are noticing me finally and interested in distributing my DVD's and I am off to NYC next week as my video is screening at the Cinekink filmfest and I am on a panel there about the porn industry. Bizarrexxx mag is also doing a story on me and just talked to AEBN about me doing the Darren Austin show..
