what will you do when Bush "wins"?

quite frankly i'll be surprised if bush doesnt "win" somehow. he didnt win the first time, and already a week before elections there are problems with votes missing, fraud, etc.

i cant see myself staying in the US if he wins. im already taking steps to make my company offshore & out of my name, only thing left to do is leave myself.

    what will you do?

do you think there will be riots, lawsuits, an assasination?

Im almost positive there will be some kind of lawsuit regardless of who wins.

Bush used the law 4 years ago and won this time, he is up against 2 lawyers.

    Regards,

    Lee

    Good point Lee

As well, my partner and I have talked about getting the hell outta here if Bush wins....

On the other hand, it will only be for four years.
Can we handle the suffering and bull shit for that long?
    I dunno...

Takes alot of "heavy" transformation and transitional shit to leave your country though too...which would be worse....long term or the short?

Let's just HOPE and pray like heck Bush doesn't win!!!

See... it won't be for four years.. it'll be for decades, quite possibly.

the horriffic changes that four more years of a bush administration would make will be irreversable. Changes to the constitution, supreme court appoitnees, more wars causing more Anti-American backlash, more new laws making it easier for Poluters to polute the ocean, the rivers, the skies and the land...

Four more years of bush (after which he won't be trying to re-election, so he'll have nothing to lose) will quite possibly destroy America as you know it.

So... yeah, leaving might not be a bad idea.

    Sorry.

Yeah! I thought this was supposed to be for the 4-year-long protest "Suck Cock/Fuck Bush!" which will be the latest reality series on Showtime and will portray the lives of 12 gay men, living together but isolated, in protest, from their home country. It will chronicle the heartaches, triumphs, growth and deterioration, but MOST IMPORTANTLY for any gay-themed cable show...have LOTS of FLESH and SEX!!!!!!!!!!

(you know, sometimes i think i really should keep these ideas to myself)

BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION: What if Bush wins?

    >> Take the lemons and make lemonade. <<

Moving out of the country won't help, because if Bush screws badly enough to efect you personally, it will proportionally effect Canada, Mexico, UK or where ever else you decide to flee, Dawgy.

Moving your business off shore (on paper at least) won't really matter. If you still have US customers and they have a reason to get you, they will.

It's best to stay put, keep your nose clean, and learn to adapt.

But save me a space in Jasun's bed, just for vacations!
