ICQ Problems

Is anyone else having problems with ICQ this morning? It won't get past the yellow flower for me.

Mine connected okay this afternoon.

ICQ is 'iffy' most of the time though, you might want to try upgradig to the latest version

I'm on the most recent "full" version, but there's a new "lite" version. Anyone have any experience with this?

Okay, i downloaded the new ICQ 4 lite (great taste, less filling) and I'm back online!!! Yay!!!

I wish I could get my icq back....only, when I download it now, it messes up my whole puter...same with Yahoo and the google task bar...neither of em is worth having my laptop messed up again....though, I do miss my icq

I hear ya, Rainbo. I just got a new computer and can run all those programs I could never get to work before. I tried running a separate ICQ at home (not so much for business as I don't own Ounique) but for my own stuff, and to keep in touch with people I'm friends with that I meet here. However, it really slowed down my little e-machine. What a piece of crap that was. LOL! The one I have now it awesome and I love it.

I couldn't connect all day yesterday,even install newer version but it didn't help me....but it is ok today...ICQ really know to be wiered sometimes

Aaaah, good to know it wasn't just me, then. Thanks, Lykos. The new version is pretty groovy. I found that I don't really use all the stuff in the ICQ pro version anyway. LOL!

awww, I love my trillian. It let's me use all of them without to much trouble. I can use yahoo, irc, icq, aim, and msn all in one program. tells me if there's email there, if the person is typing, and automatically saves every word the person types so you have records to go back on. :specs:

The only thing that messes up is the file transfers... And some of the plug ins. Over all, I give it a 8 out of 10.

I tried Trillian but it confused me. LOL!!!
