hehe, watching a 2 minute to 30 minute clip on the puter is alot different than watching a 2 hour movie, in my opinion. Following your line of thought, though... I think they should do something along the lines of NetFlix. With their brand name attached and their consumer reach, that would be an instant hit I think.

I'm suprised they have not done it already. Unless they own part of netflicks already. Between the junk they give you when you talk out the door, the junk they mail you, and all the crap they try to give you while in the store, I'm sure it would be a million dollar add-on within 2-3 months of opening, both downloaded videos and a netflicks based model.

why not take it a step farther and rather than have a pay per view have a downloadable copy of the movie and the consumer can burn it direct to DVD to use in whatever player they want. That would be a definite hit...
