a thought about cybersocket web award nominees

so, what do you think about content feed proviers who are nominated, popping a window in your member areas, offereing free memberships, etc, to people who vote for them, when in fact they arent even collecting email addresses like they say they are in order to be able to award such a prize.

call me old fashioned, but when i pay for a feed, i dont want anything popping in my members area except that feed.
