One thing I have found about tgp's is that what you submit is as important as where you submit them. Most of the big tgp's
require a recip button and I noticed none of your galleries have any. If these are just the index pages and you have others with recip links then ignore that comment obviously. Most of our webmasters have reported much more success with gay tgp's with recip buttons then submitting to the large more str8 focused tgps.

and, onlydudes... etc) The amount of traffic goes on these galleries is quite enough, but why it sells like it sells :bomb:

I think one of the problems is that you're using the same content that everyone else is using.

It seems like everyone wants to make money from nothing. When you're using free hosted galleries and content supplied by the sponsors, do you really think that you're the only one doing it?

I mean haven't we all seen the same pictures and movie from Muscle Men XXX? Don't you think the surfers have, too? And after surfing TGPs for two hours, haven't you probably seen every free hosted gallery from Randy Blue and Circle Jerk Boys. It's great content and it's nicely displayed. But it's over exposed.

Why don't you try buying some content, and then, finding some sponsors that are smaller, lesser known sites.

For instance, I'll bet if you bought some Euro boy content from Boy Content (and I'm not getting a cut), they have a less than $25 section, (Ounique has some good stuff, too, as does Gay Adult Photos) and then, made a gallery and sent your traffic to http://www.russianuniformguyz.com that you'll probably experience a better conversion rate. RUG is a newer and lesser know site, so it'll probably sell better with the impulse buying crowd.

No offense to the sponsors that you've chosen, but they're all pretty high-profile sites. Thye're going to be harder to sell. You need to show TGP traffic that you found something that hardly anyone knows about and the surfer really needs to see it.

thanks for interesting reply Dzinerbear, yes I did a marketing on gay sites, what content, what sponsors... etc... I noticed huge amount of topbucks gay sites, cjb is heavy promoted also... so I decided to promote sexgaymes, cause I found just one or two galleries promoting them... but I have worse ratio than with "overpromoted" cjb sites.

What about buying fresh content from content providers, its not a problem... I make a nice $ promoting straigh sites and do better with SPONSOR's content than bought one... less chargebacks... more rebills later. Anyway I'll buy some gay content and try it again.. I won't give up easily, hehe

You know in all honesty, if you are converting under 1:1500 on pure TGP traffic then you are doing something right.

I know a few people who consider themselves doing well if they convert at 1:3500 on TGP traffic and these folks have been playing the TGP game for a couple of years now.

Lee, if the site converts more than 1:2000 on pure tgp traffic I stop promoting it and move on another "better" site or improve my galleries or submit more or buy newer content... My avarage ratio with other sites (not gay) is about 1:500-1:700 ... of course there are some days or short periods when I have numbers like 1:3500 but on the other hand I have days when the ratio is 1:150 or PURE TGP TRAFFIC... maybe some 404 is also included

But lets say u are right... tgp traffic is pure shit and hardly convertable, so what source can u recommend me?

and also wondering to buy some CD, but I noticed quite a lot of same content as provided by pridebucks.

I still don't know what wrong with my galleries and traffic :wacko:

too much text. some guys love to read it, but when you have a lot, other guys are intimidated. they may click the links, but their horniness is affected by feeling overwhelmed.

the pages in general are pretty dense. a little breathing room might help. also the thumbs are over-sharpened.

your links on pages like this:

are not explanatory or niche related. links like Click to enter and Click to see next episode won't sell as well as links that mention the niche or site in the text.

with links like click to enter, you will see a much higher number of clicks. also different sponsors count clicks differently - topbucks counts second page.

do you know how many sales you got for each site with from ONE gallery? what is the bottom line - is one gallery or site outperforming the others with sales or dollars?

'cause at the end of the day, i'd rather make $1200 a week with a 1:1200 ratio than $600 a week with a 1:250 ratio.

Try doing your own gallery designs and writing your own copy (instead of copying the SHG, sponsor-hosted gallery). This may help draw more clicks as your galleries will stand out better (but it won't help the conversion ratio). If writing gay copy is new for you, you can ask someone to review your copy.

As TGP traffic tends to have a low conversion ratio, use your content to build small free gay sites. Submit these to as many link lists as you can find. You should get a better conversion ratio with these, and these pages continue to get some traffic month after month. You can recycle your free site gallery pages into TGP gallery pages too.

Fister - better text has always made a HUGE difference to my conversion ratios. it can mean the difference between 1:200 and 1:800.

also i once did a change in my gallery layouts - at the time, my sales had been lagging - and my average went up three sales per day. it was the stupidest thing, too - i used to mix vertical and horizontal pics on a row. they'd all be the same height, it wouldn't look messy. but when i stopped mixing them and went all vertical or all horizontal, we started seeing about another $90 per day.

don't make the same layout over and over - if something doesn't convert, throw out the old layout and text, don't try and change it. start fresh with a new concept!
