This may be a slight tangent but...
Whenever I think of Johnny Rahm, I think of the first -- and I guess only - time that I went to a gay porn movie theater. Located in South Austin, this was not an arcade, but a real theater with the movie showing up there on the screen. I guess that was maybe in 1992 or 1993.
For some reason, I always remember seeing the image of Johnny Rahm in the movie there on the big screen. To this day don't know which movie it was. It was interesting though seeing all out porn on a large silver screen in a darkened theater.
It was early on a Sunday afternoon, and I guess at that particular time of day I could sneak away from the bf. Anyway, there was no one even there - I guess I can see why the place went out of business not too long thereafter. It was pretty seedy.
The building closed, and a dot com startup purchased the building. They gutted the inside and made it a really nice facility. Then the dot com declared bankrupty the following year, and the building is empty again.

Odd seeing this posted just now as as I was just finishing up cataloging a couple hundred video titles for a new website we're starting here at the office and the last one I entered in to the database - Country Buddies - before coming to this board to see any new posts has Johnny Rahm in it. I'd just finished typing his name in to the cast list before reading this thread. o.O

Saw this on another board last night. Really sad, as I'd just talked about him on that very board the week before -- his scene with Jon Vincent in "Boner".
I always loved him, he was definitely in my top 5 porn star list.
He's happier now, and at peace.
We should all be so lucky to find such peace.
That's sad.
He seemed to have a lot that was good about him. Some people are just playing the game of life with the wrong cards.
I hope he's moved on to something better.

This is tragic news. Thank you for sharing the link to the article though. I've lost too many friends and relatives to suicide so my heart really goes out to his close frineds and family suffering through the final selfish act.
