3 days free vs regular monthlys

I am curious how well the intro discounts work at keeping and converting a client, like the 3 day free or 3 days for a buck ? vs the standard $$ to sign up.

do more people sign up then stay or sign up then cancal even before they have checked the members area out?

Well from figures that i have seen on specific types of traffic a 3 day trial will convert better but, retain much less whilst on other types of traffic full memberships convert slightly lower than trial options but, as long as you have a good members area, they retain for much longer.

Its going to be a balancing act for you, why not offer both and let the webmasters decide which they would rather push?

We have never offered trials (except at some times for limited traffic to test some theories).

We charge monthly and we generally convert and retain right up with the best of them to good traffic.

But our yield is SO much higher.

Must have something to do with 250+ exclusive models and the fresh, original content...
