    Wireless oh yes

Is it not the greatest thing? I recently just got myself a new Dell notebook (couple weeks ago) and also set up a wireless network in my home. So on chilly days like this can curl up on the sofa under a blanket and next to the heater and be chillin' on the laptop like I am right now.

We also set up a wireless network at the office so that everyone with laptops can bring em in and have em as extra computers at their desks or chill on a couch or go over to someone elses desk and show them something they need to show them on their notebook without any messy wires all snaking all over the place.

Plus, since most of the hotels in Vegas have wireless, I'm quite looking forward to just hanging out in my room in bed, under the covers, with the TV on at night. Wheee.

How'd I ever survive without it before?!

Hmmmm - that reminds me....I need to get me a new laptop. I have an old IBM from 1998 that I use on location when I shoot. I think it only has like 4GB :high: But, it's slow...very very sloooooooow!

I really like the Sony Vaio's. Anybody got any experience with them?

My apartment has wireless, too. And with four computers, it makes things really easy.

funny how we can't live without things that we didn't know existed four years ago, eh?

I have a Sony Vaio GRV680. It was top-of-the-line about a year ago when I bought it.

STAY AWAY from the big Vaios unless they have fixed the overheating problem. Mine sits on a cooling pad 100% of the time, otherwise it overheats and shuts down if I'm doing anything processor intensive. I'm wireless too, but I'm afraid to take it off it's cooling pad.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

i love my apple powerbook with wireless. just about every airport has hotspots, as well as alot of starbucks, bookstores & other places.

i found out yesterday that a big new mall in plano (dallas) has a wireless food court. im tempted to move here just so i can sit in the mall all day looking at cute boys & working on porn...
