why do feed providers fuck with their customers?

not just picking on rocky, but honestly dood, your feed is the one that set me off, so im gonna use you as an example...

for a few weeks there was a popup on a PAID feed telling your customers' members that they could win a free membership to your site if they vote at the cybersocket awards for your sites.... but you werent even collecting email addresses.... just linking right to the vote form.

now its a popup for a hotel?? (see below)

what the hell... if a website owner pays for a feed, he isnt paying for feed providers to take his member traffic... not for voting, not for hotels, and certainly not for upsells.

and its not just beachboi... im just picking on him because its what i went to first when i logged in and i got this popup shit... its all kinds of feeds. i see links for sales of videos, upsells to other paysites, all kinds of shit... on feeds that people are spending literally $1000s of dollars a month on.

It's tacky.... But tons of people try to do it. Anything from chat bots to pop up windows. Guess they forgot about all the blockers now and SP2 automatically blocking them anyway. :specs:

Well not all plug-ins are like that. There are some companies that do produce them without any of the sneaky stuff people try to get away with.

Then again, it partly the website owner (webmaster) respocibiliety to check the content they lease 1-5 times per month. (weekly is better) If for no other reason to make sure everything is working correctly and they are getting what they pay for.

A members area is what they PAY for to get away from all of that crap. I would jerk that feed so fast and tell them exactly why in not so many words.

as far as no gay, I currently have 2 new sites I am shooting right now... one is to be a solo, and the other a rough blowjob site... all exclusive, all same high quality but with even better quality content

When I left J&A, got busy doing some encoding work for platinum bucks and other companies while I was working day and night to launch www.itsyourporn.com last year in jan...

now we're 1 year later, got a great base of good clients, people seem to like what I do with the pluggin, life is good

It's not just feeds. It's like this in the AVS world, too. People put up galleries, follow the rules for the first month, then presto! they dump the gallery and redirect to their paysite.

We learned a long time ago NOT to do that.

In fact....we improved upon it. We sell feeds "with the option" of 1on1 cam upsells. You simply check it in your admin area and choose it if you want. This gives the webmaster the choice.

Feed providers have pulled that on us twice now. Both times we cancled without pause. Luckily there are lots of providers who are ready to take up the slack
