Now this fucking sucks.

37 years old and get the goddamn chicken pox.

And it FUCKING sucks.

EVERYTHING aches, and itchy? You got NO idea.

I am taking antibiotics, antihistimines, antiinflammatories, pain killers, bathing in this yellow shit that helps reduce the itching, dabbing myself from head to toe with Calamine Lotion to reduce the itching and gargling antiseptic because they are in my throat as well.

This is all so wrong.

So people, bear with me for the next few days.

If you are close enough to someone to have sex with them, you can definitely transmit the chicken pox! It is contagious, especially when you have those itchy red dots all over your body. Anyone around you can get them, so if there is anyone in your house that has not had them, expect that they will very soon.

Chicken Pox is from the herpes virus, but its not sexually transmitted. It is in that same category as shingles and cold sores. It just moves through your body and goes away. The idea is to just feed and treat your body properly so you recover as quickly as possible.

One you get it, your body will develop an immunity to it. You want to eat a lot of healthy food to feed your body's need for calories. Increase your intake of vitamin A and C - green leafy vegetables, carrots, citrus fruits. Beans.

You want to bathe a lot, sounds like you are doing that. I got the chicken pox when I was a wee lad fortunately.

Well I am 4 days in.

They promised me between 3-5 days of misery.

They were NOT fucking kidding.

Getting better slowly, the ones in my throat have settled down, and most of the spots have burst and are settling down slowly, but getting a little sick of bathing first in that god-awful brown Pine Tarsol shit and then taking a calamine lotion "shower" to cover the bastards.

I will survive and I WILL be in Vegas.

But NOT looking like this:
