Mainstream Site Design Question

We're in the process of putting up a mainstream site at the moment which is actually 2 sites (if that makes sense LOL).

Both domains are 8 characters long and the first word of both is the same.

My question is this..

Would it make sense to keep the 'look and feel' to both of the sites the same?

So for example, use the same fonts on both of them for the logo etc as well as colors?

Your thoughts on this?

If I'm thinking what you're thinking, it might depend on how different the two sites are and how related they are.

If it's one site divided into two separate areas on two separate domains, I might keep the same layout and fonts, but use a different color theme for the two sites.

But that's just me. :presley:
