dimebag darrell killed at show last night :-(

    http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/12/09/nig...ing/index.html

fuck, and at house of blues? the tv news said it was a fan who didn't want pantera to break up. a guy i know was the singer for dimebag's new band, and he said it was the OTHER guys who broke up the band by pretty much putting it on hold.

i never thought i'd say i'm glad my car broke down yesterday, but i'm glad i missed this show.

    fuck :-(

It wasn't at The House of Blues. They were/are local boys, so it's been a big deal here.
Damageplan began its performance at the Alrosa Villa nightclub on Columbus' north side.

I can honestly say i have never heard of this group until last night.

Definately sad when someone loses their life especially in these circumstances

As a huge fan of Pantera, Damage Plan and the singer Pat Lachamn who was the guitar player for Halford, I'm just totally fucked up over this.

I mean.. pardon my obvious prejudice... you expect shit like this at Rap, Reggae and Hip Hop shows... we all just kinda looked at each other and shrugged when we saw that a big fight and stabbing happened at the VIBE awards.. but I've never even seen a fist fight at a metal show. I've never seen anyone get hurt other than moshing and stage-diving accidents.

    I dont' get it.
