what parents in their right minds would allow this?? I just can't understand how any parent would put their child near an accused molester, no matter how famous he was.
my 2 cents

You have got to be shitting me?
With the current case ging through the court system and everything parents STILL let their kids go to his place?
Only in America.

Lee
wonder how many of those parents think gay people are unfit for parenthood
How could Jackson's lawyers let him do something like that? It's like he's thumbing his nose at the prosecution, judge, jury and everyone else.
Reminds me of Brian Dennehy in that John Wayne Gacey movie where the cop is watching him perform as a clown at a party. The cop knows what Gacey's up to. Gacey knows the cop knows. And Gacey gives this smug, evil look at the cop like "Oh I know you know about me... but you can't prove it... now watch me play with these kinds right in front of your face."
Could Jackson be anymore out of touch with reality to not see that people would look at this and think "WTF?!"? Every step of the way he proves himself to be even more deluded and irrational than before.
Maybe he's setting himself up for an insanity defense? It's certainly plausible.
If you guys took the time to read the story instead of exploding into a panicked frenzy you'd see --- oh wait! The CNN article is TOTALLY SLANTED! wow!
The article I read yesterday stated:
"When one of the youngsters shouted, "We love you!" Jackson replied "I love you more" before putting an umbrella over his head and walking back toward his house.
In his brief appearance, Jackson smiled, waved and at one point looked as if he would come back and play with the children, but instead got into a vehicle that took him off the property."
FULL STORY
I've never known CNN to be SO slanted... lesson learned. I'm not a Jackson fan.. and personally, without seeing all the evidence, my gut says he did it. Just look at the picture in this post! CREEPY
The point of this post is just to show that CNN was very slanted in their article.
How is it a panicked frenzy to see blatant wrongdoing when an accused child molester actively engaged in trial proceedings hosts a kids party at his home?
Whether or not he's there with them. It's at his house, where the events for which he's accused allegedly took place and where evidence for the trial has been gathered.
It's plain old wrong. And stupid.
Well, playing devils advocate here, I'd say that he's an ACCUSED child molestor, not convicted. I'd also say the children are all special needs children ( if you read the article you'd know that ). Which means there is someone pushing around their wheelchairs constantly and each special needs child requires an aid at all times.Originally posted by BDBionic

Like I said..I'm not defending the guy. I think he's wealthy and got away with it before. I think anyone who's stupid enough to take children to his ranch either A) Approve of child molestation or B) Are hoping their child will be molested so they can make money. It's sick and any responsible parent wouldn't let their family within spitting distance of the guy.
I dunno why you insist on being so combative when all you gotta do is point out your opinions regarding it all without having to come off as degrading those you disagree with.Originally posted by Squirt

What makes you think I didn't read the article? What makes you think I haven't read a dozen articles on this story?
It's exactly that he's an accused child molester that I have a problem with what he's doing. Did I say anywhere that I believed him to have done it or that, with 200 kids over at his home, he's gonna be takin' em all to the backroom to fiddle about with 'em during the course of the party? I said it was foolish for his lawyers to have let him do what he's doing and that he's thumbing his nose at the courts.
If you were accused of and on trial for fraud and embezzlement, don't you think it'd be a bit unwise to go out and spend massive amounts of money and make lavish purchases while the trial was ongoing?
Don't you think your lawyer might suggest you not go out and buy a buncha guns if you were on trial for shooting someone?
If I was on trial for smuggling illegal immigrants in to the country you bet I'd probably put a hold on my weekend surf trips to Mexico.
And if I was on trial for child molestation you can sure as hell but I'd not invite 200 kids over to a party at the place the alleged molestation took place.
At every given opportunity this man proves himself to be out of touch with reality and how he is unable to understand perception, discretion, consequence and reason. Look at the fact that this story is getting as much attention as it is right now. Could he not have foreseen that?! Could his lawyers not have seen this all coming? Why didn't someone step up and say "Ya know, Michael... while this trial's going on it'd probably be best you hold off on the kids parties at the ranch..."
(But I suppose if you'd read my previous posts you would have known what I was saying)
Yikes! Not a snow balls chance in hell would I let my son go, even if I accompanied him. No thanks, I'll pay the $50 to go to Disneyland.
Yeah he's pretty stupid. I seriously think that because he bought his way out of it before that he feels he is invinsible -- hey wasn't that the name of one of his albums?Originally posted by BDBionic

How am I degrading you at all? And by playing Devils Advocate I'm trying to bring balance to the story so we can see a different view, unlike the CNN story which made it seem like he was at his ranch fucking 200 children while on trial for child molestation.
The constant "If you read the article" comments are degrading. It's taking a swipe at the person in the midst of presenting your point. It's unnecessary. It's presumptuous, as well.

Well, like it or not in my American you are still innocent until proven guilty. It is obvious that in the public opinion he is already guilty.
Very open minded of all you porn producers. I had thought that we might be a little bit more openminded and understanding...I guess that when the police come for you that you will want every one to make the same assumption about you as well...
I for one will still assume you are innocent (although I appear to be the minority on this board)!
Very sad indeed...

MiamiB,
I appreciate your perspective. I believe that most of us are on board with you on this one. BUT he is accused of a crime against children, whether it's true or not, why would I risk the chance it is true? That's all.
