Easiest Way To Mass Produce Galleries Using A Template?

Anyone know of a script that is server based that will do the following..

Lets say i have a directory setup like /content/set1/ thru to /content/set2000/ i can either manually input the directories to the script or, it will find them itself.

Each of the 'setX' directories also contains a 'thumbs' directory.

What i want to be able to do is put say 10 different HTML template layouts into the script and it will generate (and possibly upload) the HTML pages to the server and call all images from the original /content/setx/ directories.

Anyone know if there is a script that will handle this or is it a custom coded job?

Okay as we havent been given any existing links as yet im gonna find out how much its going to cost to have a custom solution written

if my boyfriend wants to be cool, he'll agree to write one for us.

But

1) I dont know if he's that cool
and 2) it will have to be a desktop application writen in .Net or C++/C# or whatever the hell those admin types are using

Server based application would be the better option to be honest.

Something you can just leave alone and let run on 'auto' 24/7

Okay so there obviously isnt anything out there like this atm so lets put together a feature list and try to get a programmer to write it for us :thumbsup:

If we all need it, the cost of such a custom programmed script should be negligable, probably around $100-$150 for each of us and we know it would cost way more than that off the shelf.

Whos up for splitting the cost of custom programming to get this thing written?

Okay ive just spoken to a guy we use on a regular basis..

To write this script from scratch is going to cost $750.

It will take 30 days to complete from whenever the guy gets his money to write it :thumbsup:

My boyfriend's doing me a desktop program in .Net I just have to tell him what exactly I want it to do.

Thats the thing, to make this cost effective we need to get around 5 people who want this script

Lee if you give me some more info, I have a programmer contact that does php work for me for some great rates, I am sure he would be able to put something together for a better price.
