We're Running Another Forum Test For The Next Few Days
This time however, it doesnt involve thread reply notifications :thumbsup:
We're testing to see whether or not letting anonymous users read posts has any overall effect of the community as a whole starting from today.
We are hoping it will encourage new members to register and participate in the community discussion a little more which, im sure you will agree is good for everyones business

Having a positive environment that fosters communication and growth will make people participate more then antyhing else. You can't MAKE people want to be a part of GWW, they have to WANT to be a part of it. :high:

The post wasn't about me Lee, it was about the topic of this thread which was "We are hoping it will encourage new members to register and participate in the community discussion a little more.."

Good question. I think you are sending conficting messages to people. First you ask them what they want, say you don't "play favorites" or the "politics of porn" then you have the owner of GWW making posts like the one I quoted.
I don't have any hard feelings or anything. I'm just being honest and making a point, which is, that you guys seem to be saying one thing, but doing another here.

The topic was about some test we are running on the forums, the extra info was just the reasoning behind it. We want to make sure our community members are aware whats going on especially when, they coule have an effect on their businesses in the long run.

Gary made that post, i presume because of the context of the thread in question, it has nothing to do with playing favorites, im pretty sure you are smart enough to see that. Everyone is treated with the same respect on GWW irrespective of whether they are new to the industry or not, irrespective of whether they are male or female, gay or straight, black or white, thats why everyone gets along so well.Good question.
