I run Bear Universe, which in spite of the name isn't just about bears. I feature sites related to hairy men, bears, leather, barabacking, fetish and kink. I started it in September and it's continuing to kick ass for my affiliates. Traffic right now is about 12k a month and growing.

Thumbnailer . . . we've got over 100 Gay link lists/directories and search engines listed.

Our recommendation is to first check those you would plan to use -- as a Gay surfer. What may seem great to you as a webmaster may not really hold the potential for good traffic because of the organization/design or other non-surfer-friendly aspects of the site. The other factor to evaluate is how well a service you select addresses the specific Gay niche(s) for which your sites are designed. For example there's no point adding a bear site to a directory without a bear category.

Pick surfer friendly sites that sell to your site(s) audience(s) and you should find your postings worth the effort.
