PHP = Personal Hell Programming ?

How do you guys who setup everything for yourselves STAND it? I feel like i lose an inch of hairline everytime I go through this. My current project uses a php script, and it's adding a horizontal scrollbar and five inches of empty space to the right of the page for no apparent reason. I have yet to find any reason why or how to fix it, and that's one of the minor problems i've had.

I miss the old days when HTML was all you needed.

I'm PHP clueless as well....

On another board I mod, I've brought this issue up a couple of times.
Everyone there always says "Oh, you'll get the hang of it, it's easy!"
I try and still can't....grrrrrrr!

LOL, it is just like any other programming language! I quite like PHP as I find it is really easy, but then again I started programming with Fortran and Cobol (yuck!)

Just stick with it, it gets easier! Or take the easy way out and hire someone

Most of my programmers use ASP since we offer Windows Hosting. Pretty much the same to one extent, but all Greek to me

Im the same, dont know how to read code to save my life but i can 'edit' code and have a basic understanding of the terms etc.

I happen to love php. It's so much easier then perl. Lord, how much do i hate working with perl.

I can't do anything really fab, but mostly call/post things to sql databases, build templates. One of the things I like about it you can use a flat text file as a makeshift database. (I used to do it before I started with sql.)
