Looking For Mellow Gay Content

hi, I'm creating a gay tour of www.prosolutionpills.com. I need some content that will match the straight content we have in there now. So it needs to be somewhat mellow and fun, some couples, etc. spam me - thanks

Rather tha going the gay content provider route, you would be better off hitting some of the stock photography sites such as http://www.queerstock.com http://www.comstock.com and the likes.

We pulled a lot of images to use on the gay tour on Penis Pill when we redid that site for Herbal Bucks.

However, QueerStock confuses me. Their license includes the following restriction:

"Use of the Image in a manner that is defamatory, pornographic or obscene, whether directly or in context or juxtaposition with specific subject matter."

Who in the hell do they expect to be licensing their "queer" images if they're cutting out the "pornography" market entirely?

I'm sorry, but their inventory doesn't look like the type of stuff mainstream sites and magazines are going to be snatching up left and right....

Yeah their license is a bit funky.

We had an issue with some of the wording so called them up to clarify what they meant.

Basically, so long as their pics arent being used on ona fida 'porn' sites thy dont mind if they are used in the industry, specifically though we asked if they had any problems with using them on 'herbal viagra supplement' sites and they said that they did not :thumbsup:

It is always worth checking with any stock photography place as to what they dont and, more importantly, do consider as 'pornographic' especially when the cost for an individual image can go up to as much as $5k!

Why on earth wouldn't someone just hire a professional photographer and pay him 1/3 of that to do a shot?

Personally, I think they're snorting crack rocks if that's what their price point goes to.

We didn't even pay near that much in mainstream for stock used in magazine ads, much less for online use.

Oh i agree.

Mainstream pricing is just crazy.

A simple paysite style tour in 'non adult' would cost around $25-30k

Just look at logo development, companies spend literally MILLIONS of dollars (Cingular) to have logos created then spend millions more to brand their logo.

When you think of that 5k image in comparison to the millions a company has already spent in developing their corporate identity, its really pocket change on the grand scale of things.

Oh and, whilst we're on the topic of mainstream, keep an eye out for something coming soon from us in the mainstream world
