LOS ANGELES - LFP Broadcasting LLC, parent company of Hustler TV, today announced an exclusive deal with Conwest Resources Incorporated, parent company of the Falcon Studios, to launch a gay adult video on demand channel.

Falcon VOD will soon been available as a separate stand-alone VOD service offered exclusively through Hustler TV.

Falcon VOD will feature titles from the Falcon family of companies including: Falcon Studios, Jocks Studios, Mustang Studios, Falcon International Collection and Falcon Alone With.

Hustler TV will handle all distribution, sales and marketing for the gay adult video on demand channel.

“Falcon has been the world’s most well-respected and recognizable gay adult entertainment brand for over 30 years,” Michael H. Klein, executive vice president of LFP Broadcasting, said.

“We think that instead of having a generic gay VOD service, which other people offer right now, it would be better to have one with a company that is a strong brand,” Klein told AVN.com. “And Falcon is a brand that is well known so that a consumer looking for that type of product will recognize automatically that it is a top adult film channel that delivers some of the best titles in gay adult film.”

The Falcon VOD package of titles will be available in various edit versions as well as different hourly volumes to accommodate all VOD server capacities. All packages will feature a 50 percent monthly refresh rate.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Hustler TV to launch the Falcon brand into a new and expanding market of VOD customers,” said Todd Montgomery, Conwest Resources president and CEO. “Our familiar brands are already a favorite of the gay adult community and should prove to be an extremely popular VOD offering.”

Interesting stuff.

It seems more and more companies are not only embracing the gay market as of late but also, that more and more companies are launching their own VOD (Video On Demand) services.

It is especially interesting to see that this is happened 'offline' as well as on the web too.
