Wow ... that sure wakes you up to what a large conglomerate can eventually do with computers.

That was actually a pretty cool link, well worth the 8 minutes to view

To a point, what they have predicted is actually possible today it just hasnt been implemented as yet, will be interesting to see if anything like that does come out in the next few years though.

I especially liked the concept of the Google Grid... mass, virtual storage for everyone, with the ability to publish or not.. there is definately something to that IMHO.

    Thanks for sharing this CTB...

I enjoy exponential growth theories. This presentation does offer a logical possibility. The one point I did note was the continued rivalry of Google to Microsoft.

What does the future hold? Hmmmmm

The thing with Google, or any Internet venture, is that one day they're on top, the next some new start up springs into being, offers some cool feature, and presto! Google is a has-been. Perhaps the Internet has developed to a point where the rise and fall isn't so quick, like it was with Alta Vista, Tucows, Yahoo, et al, but it's still happening. FireFox is gaining ground on IE in a big way. And Yahoo is gaining on Google, too. And I think one day Google will step their collective toe across some imaginary line and the love affair will be over.

    Cheers

I agree with Michael but I just put in a buy order for Google, Microsoft and Amazon to be on the safe side.

    50c each way.
