    How much is too much?

When doing a solo interview/strip/masturbation vid, how much talking (interviewing) should be done? I've gotten two different answers from two different friends of mine who are both gay. One says that the less talking the better - get straight to the action. The other one says some talking would let the viewer get to know the guy a little - get to know his personality if only for a moment so he's cool with some talking.

if anything, we go to the extreme with too much talking on boysecrets.com -- our average interview is 5-15 minutes in length... but on that site, that's exactly what our members are seeking, an in-depths, somewhat voyeuristic interview that pretty much asks all the questions we can think to ask.

In general though, I think a 2-3 minute interview, enough to get to know the guy a little, never hurts. THose who really don't want to watch can skip past it.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

I would go with a time frame equal to 15-25% of the total clip length.

Surfers are expecting to see guys getting naked unless they are told differently.

Just my opinion on the matter after seeing how our surfers reacted when we did the DILF interviews.

It really depends upon both the model and the interviewer, whether they can talk or not.

I saw one where the interviewer was pretty bad, so the model was giving one-word answers. The interviewer didn't know what else to say, or how to get the model to talk, so he asked: "So you got any other big dick stories?"

"No, not really," was the response, I think.

Other times, the models don't really have much to say. Sometimes they're gay guys trying to play straight, and it just doesn't come off right. Sometimes the look on their face is like: Come on, dude, let me pound my pud, get my money, and get out.

Jake Cruise usually intro's the guy: "Hi I'm Jake Cruise and this is Martin. He's a senior at college, he's 22, and he's got an 8 inch uncut cock, which we're going to play with right now. Okay Martin?"

Martin says "Okay," and that's about it.

And I think that's probably about all you need. Not to be disparaging or mean, but a lot of these guys just aren't actors or public speakers, and unless you have a knack for it, it's difficult to pull off. I know if I had to do lines in a porn movie, I'd probably fuck it up. You're not really hiring the guy to talk, so why try and make him?

Depends... but I'd say that if they're amateur guys, you really should keep the talking to the minimum...

I mean, if nothing else, sometimes I get all hot for a guy, but when he opens his mouth it just makes me close the Windows Player.... you know what I mean? It can be a big turnoff sometimes... as Dzinerbear said, especially if they are not used to the public speaking or cameras and just want to get it off and get the money...
