How Are You Promoting VOD Sites?

How many of you folks use VOD sponsors?

If you do, how are you promoting them to your surfers? Like regular paysite memberships or something different?

Ive only tried promoting VOD myself a little so am looking for some ideas to make more of my sites where i utilize VOD.

I have one VOD sponsor, and I've only done a small amount of promotion for it. I just have a button image and a small description of the site on a TGP page...similar to what I have for membership clubs on the same page.

I was just thinking about this also. You don’t really see many sites pushing VOD stuff yet.

I’ve read a few (5-8) posts on str8 boards asking “Do you think it will sell?”

Watching movies on demand is a significant part of my website revenue. It is like a jillion times easier for me to sell someone on watching Every Poolboy's Dream on their computer, then a recurring membership site.

But that's just me. Your mileage may vary.

I started with VOD because, as a consumer beforehand, paying as I went was an easier pill to swallow. I always felt that sex was an impulse purchase. A VOD model lets them buy impulsively rather than consider their monthly budgets.

It's not continuous revenue, so that's a downside. Commissions on a $10 purchase will only earn you a coffee (unless you supply your own content), so you should be confident in your supplier that you can upsell them after they get their $10 sample.

Well Lee, AEBN has the best program in my eyes... and the have an extremely large collection of gay material as well a multiple niches to promote.
