Where to stay in Phoenix

We're thinking about driving out to Phoenix for the Phoenix Forum and Webmaster Bash. Is it best to stay at the host hotel Mission Palms (expensive) or do people ussually stay someplace else? Any recommendations?

The hotel where the Phoenix Forum is being held at is definately the ideal location. However, im hearing from a few people that the hotel is actually already sold out.

You might want to contact Pat or Sherri and ask if they can confirm that is the case.

There is still room at the Tempe Mission Palms, however, its filling up fast. There is another hotel wihin in walking distance, the Courtyard by Marriott. Within a quick 10 minute drive are several realively inexpensive hotels around the Phoenix Airport.

The Phoenix Forum should be a good time.
